Description
The venue for the 2024 Christmas Dinner Dance is Vale d’Oliverias Resort. The club has used this venue on at least 2 previous occasions and it has always been well received.
Entertainment will be provided by a group new to the club, called 33LM, they are an enthusiastic Portuguese 3 piece band, who are great to listen to, and of course dance to.
The event will commence at 7 pm, with a welcome drink in the main reception in Vale d’Oliveiras, followed by a buffet 3 course meal in the main restaurant area on the floor below. The meal will be followed by presentations of the hampers, and then live music!
The menu is set out below and looks great, it takes account all of your different dietary requirements!
Starters:
- Simple salads: Tomato, Lettuce, Carrot, Cucumber, Onions & Peppers
- Cod roe salad
- Octopus salad
- Chicken salad with fresh cheese
- Orange chèvre salad
- Montanheira salad
- Shots of gazpacho
Main Dishes:
- Codfish à lagareiro
- Turkey roti
- Baked potatoes
- Seasonal vegetables
- Eggplant and tofu stew
- Dried fruit rice
Desserts:
• Chef's selection, including gluten free and dairy free options
Drinks are included and will be served throughout the meal and include White, Rose & Red wine, beer, water (still and sparkling ) and soft drinks
There will be round tables which can sit up to 10 people.
The cost to members is €48 each and €55 to non-members and guests.
