Mens Singles Knockout

The closing date for entries is Wednesday 31st Jan and the draw will take place after the competition on Saturday 3^rd February.

These Knockout competitions are classed as "Majors" and the winners appear on the honours boards so in order to play in this prestigious event you must satisfy the following criteria:

1. Your Portuguese handicap must be held by Serra de Monchique Golf Club.
2. You must have submitted a minimum of 4 cards from SdM qualifying competitions in the six months prior to the cut off date for the first round of matches which is currently likely to be around the end of April.  

The various rounds will be played between February and October with the deadline for the completion of the first round likely to be late April - this will be finalised when the number of entries are confirmed.

For reference the deadlines for the various rounds in 2017 were:

Preliminary Round - 15th March (this only applied to a small number of matches in the Men's Singles)

Round 1 - 30th April (this applied to Men's Singles, Mixed and Men's Pairs)

Round of 16 - 30th June (applied to all events)

Quarter Finals - 30th Aug

Semi Finals - 21st Sept

Finals - 15 Oct

The entry cost is €5 per competition and this will be debited from your account once the draw has been made – please ensure you have sufficient funds available.
