A great final day of the VACS TROPHY was hosted by Serra de Monchique at Silves today.  The scores were very close going into this final round with the Final Scores for today being  Vila Sol 150, SDM  168,  Alto 174 and Carvoeiro Club 178.

The Cup was won by Carvoeiro Club with a grand total of 654 from just ONÊ shot from Alto Club with 653, 3rd was SDM with 634 and 4th Vila Sol with 612 so a very close finish.  A lovely meal at O Barrados finished off the day.  Individual prizes were given out for 1st to 5th place .  Well done Pippa Tennant of SDM with 38 pts and 4th place and a nearest the pin prize was given to an Alto player for her achievement on the 6th Hole.  Well done Ladies and thank you to all the ladies who have represented SDM this year in the VACS TROPHY.   Lynn Cook.
