The weather provided for a wonderful weekend for this year's Presidents Day. The competition on Saturday was a seattle shambles, very competitive and with a fabulous turnout. President Steve Edwards was on the first tee to greet all 80 players, he also gave out some golf balls and fruit. Sue and Rosemary were also in attendance at the halfway house providing members with some superb home made pies courtesy of Roger at Pies "n" That in Lagos.

The competition was won on countback:

Winners: Gary Edwards, Gill Edwards. Euan Pyper and Yvonne Pyper.

Runners Up: Gerry Davis, Judy Davis, Des Briggs and Barbara Briggs

The next day saw the dinner and presetations at the stunning Quinta dos Vales Winery. A beautiful evening greeted nearly 100 guest, the reception drinks followed by a superb buffet provided by Bon Bon Catering. The dancing continuing well into the night with the music from the talented Mash Ups.
