Captain's Charity Walk

One of the main fund raising events for the Captain's charity in 2018 is the "Fisherman's Trail" walk, from Porto Covo to Odeceixe.

The overall walk is 75 kilometers over a period of 4 days and although a relatively short distance, the terrain is classed as "somewhat difficult". Maddy van Kleef and Euan Pyper walked two of the stages as a reconnaissance to establish the difficulty and believe that most walking golfers are fit enough given that there is plenty of time each day.

Varying numbers of walkers each day, but they will be transported to the start point and collected from the finish point by the 'logistics team", coordinated by Dave Tweed.

The final day (Saturday 26th May) will have the most walkers - about 15 to date. There will be an end of walk reception/party on the North beach of Odeceixe at around 16:00, when all members are invited for some finger food and beverages. However, please notify Euan Pyper and Dave Tweed if you plan to attend, so we can prepare accordingly.
