Thursday Boys & Girls Xmas Lunch - Registration is Closed

Christmas Lunch for the "Thursday Boys", although there is nothing Christmassy about the fabulous menu Brasserie Rosal are offering us for the all inclusive price of €25. Although the "Thursday Boys" regulars will recieve the usual subsidy (funded by the quarter's kitty), all partners are most welcome, as are other members and their guests - up to a maximum of 80 people.

The restaurant does not normally open for lunch, so we have exclusive use of their facilities during our stay there - and (weather permitting), the welcome drink will be served on the terrace just outside the restaurant - overlooking the garden and tennis courts.

Brasserie Rosal is situated in a quiet location at the Vale de Rei resort with plenty of free parking, and situated just five minutes south of the roundabout on the EN125 by the International School. Full directions will follow from Dave Tweed Nearer the time.

Marinated salmon served on a hash brown and honey mustard sauce

Truffle ravioli with herbal butter sauce & parmesan

Sauteed prawns on warm quinoa lentil salad

Mixed bruschetta with pesto, tomato & ratatouille

MAIN COURSE (choose one)

Portuguese lamb from the oven with red wine sauce, sauteed potatoes and fresh vegetables

Monchique wild boar stew, served with seasonal vegetables and sauteed potatoes

Homemade vegetable lasagne with tomato-bechamel and crispy cheese topping

Pan fried fillets of sea bass with gerlic sauce, served with sauteed potatoes and fresh vegetables
