What a fantastic day we had! 120 ladies dressed in all shades of pink playing golf at Silves.
The team of Sdm guys did a superb job of looking after the registrations, cards and selling Mulligans. Not to mention setting up the course with pink tee markers and flags. They happily served us with fizz, water and nibbles. Certainly a special day to remember.
The event has raised in excess of €9,500 for the Algarvean Oncology Association, fantastic!
This will help fund the mobile breast screening unit and much more hopefully helping to save lives. The AOA are always funding new initiatives to support a range of cancer treatments and support cancer patients.
On behalf of the AOA and the Sdm Pink Ladies we would like to express our appreciation to everyone, and there are too many to name, who have;
played in the event, donated a prize, food or drink, given their time to prepare the event in some way and of course the 120 lovely ladies who played.
Each lady received 2 golf balls donated by Callaway. A goody bag donated by Ever You beauty salon and Aotearoa Health and Well-being.
