Today, we played our first interleague match against Vilamoura, they came with a very strong team and out of 10 players eight with a single figure handicaps with only two above , both of whom were off 10!.

We also learnt that most of them played Silves yesterday to get them self prepared, I think they were expecting a big win.

The SDM team performed brilliantly. With the result we won 3 -1/2 to 1- 1/2.

Each match was extremely close with lots of birdies recorded.

My thanks to the whole team who played today, I hope this will encourage more members to consider playing in future interleague matches.
