Today we’ve had another memorable event to celebrate Portugal Freedom Day.

Firstly, I want to send my thanks to you as members, thank you for supporting us and for making days like today, so special, and as Eddie, quite rightly, said, another fantastic atmosphere on the terrace.

Thanks also to Gary, John and Euan, and of course their other two fellow band members for entertaining us so brilliantly, isn’t it great that we have three such talented members of our club.

Thanks to our Portuguese friends for helping to organise today, and to those members who have generously contributed prizes.

Finally, two other special mentions, Patricia did a brilliant job on her cart, and I’ve had great feedback from many of you, so a big thank you from us all.

Today wouldn’t have happened without the incredible hard work of Eddie so behalf of all members, once again we send him our thanks.
