Saturday 13 June, President’s Day 2026, dawned bright, sunny and windy - oh so very windy. The majority playing said it was the windiest and perhaps toughest conditions they had ever played in. It certainly made for a long and hard day.

However all 64 players turned up to play and were given a gift of a sharpie ball marker pen on the first tee. Rolls to order, sausage rolls, snacks, coffees and cold drinks were provided by Patricia at her hut behind the 10th green. As always this was very much appreciated by the players.

A partial shotgun start enabled a number of competitors to stay behind on the clubhouse terrace for the presentation of the Nearest the Pin prizes. These were won by:-

Sue White and Nigel Hooper and the 3rd and
Ria Raap and Per Lars Tonstad on the 15th
