Dear members.

I hope you’re all trying to stay as cool as you can in the hot spell, but at the same time still enjoying your golf.

Yesterday we played our interleague home match against Salgados, in hot conditions, we as a team all chose to take buggies, which I think was a good move on our part. I’m pleased to report a very successful result for the team. We won three of our matches, one match was halved, so we only lost one .
I would like to thank all members who played for the team yesterday, there were some really great performances, the standout has to be Wayne with an Eagle on the 12th, I was there to witness the shot which was from around 90 yards.

It was also lovely to have Fatima back for a few days looking after us in the clubhouse.

I would like to encourage members to consider playing for the team, we have three matches coming up in August and two in September, these are all open on the website.

On behalf of members, I want to us to send our very best wishes to Jimmy Cruz, Who I’m sure most of you will know comes from Venezuela, I understand that Jimmy‘s immediate family are safe, however, he is naturally concerned about his many friends, I’m sure there may be other members who may well have contacts in Venezuela and after the recent terrible tragedy, I’m sure our thoughts are with you all.
