This year's Foundation Cup, the second time it's been held, was won by Ian Chapman. A very blustery day saw some high scores with a huge majority of the competitors playing well below their handicap allowances. Ian however beat the conditions to record a magnificent 37 points including 21 on the back nine.

Second place went to Judi Murphy with 34 and third to Andy Richardson with 33 points.

The Foundation Cup is open to qualifiers only. Monthly medal winners, Club Champions and runners up, and winners in various other competitions throughout the year gain entry. There are currently 46 "tickets" available and the first of these will be in the December Medal.

It is named the Foundation Cup to commemorate the founding of the Club which happened in the month of November.
