There was a record turn out of twenty eight ladies enjoying a calm if not cold November morning on Thursday when the ladies held their usual monthly Competition at Pestana Silves Golf Course. 

The game on Thursday was a team Stableford with four prizes plus a hole in one for Ginny Barrow .

 The main prize going to the team of Gill Edwards, Ginny Barrow, Dawn Mackinlay and Dot Forrester.

Ginny chose the wrong day to record her hole in one what with twenty eight ladies and twenty men in the clubhouse it proved to be a very expensive shot!

Organiser  Eileen Groves said it was another wonderful ladies day enjoyed by all and would like to remind them that the next Ladies Day is the  Christmas game with  lunch at O Barradas Restaurant on the 12th of December.
