Serra de Monchique Ladies finish 2nd in this year's VACS TROPHY.

The first Meeting took place in November at Pinta Golf Course and we were lying in 3rd place.  Decembers Venue was Alto where we managed to maintain our 2nd place lying just 1 shot behind Carvoeiro Club.  The 3rd round at Silves in January  we mainainted our 2nd place spot but Carvoeiro Club extended their lead to 10 shots.

 The final round at Vila Sol last week saw Carvoeiro Club the Final Winners for2014 15 shots clear of SdM.  The weather was poor with rain and wind so we reduced the final round to 9 holes.  Vila Sol finished in 3rd place with Alto Club in 4th place failing to produce a team for the fourth round due to a lack of available players.

May I take this opportunity to thank the ladies of SdM who have represented us in the VACS Trophy this year, your support has been very much appreciated and let's hope we can bring the trophy home in 2015!
