The second round of the Fermon Trophy took place at Gramacho on Monday 10^th November. Despite returning a higher team score than that achieved at Alto in the first round we still only managed to record third place on the day. Lynn Cook and Warren Tennant were the best pairing from SDM scoring an excellent 43 points and they were closely followed by Sandy Rumfitt and Richard Whitely with 42 points. Other SDM scores were: Ray & Eileen Groves (36), Chris Nickels & Steve Morgan (36), Stuart Deans & Malcolm Cooke (35) and Peter & Marja Chapman (32)

Winners on the day were Carvoeiro who made the best use of home advantage to amass an incredible 206 points – an average of over 41 for their 5 scoring pairs!! Second was Vila Sol with 195 closely followed by SDM (192) and Alto (189).
