These were the words from 2nd Commander Gabriel Travassos pictured here with Club Captain Euan Pyper. SdM managed to raise 650 euros for this very worthwhile cause.

The money raised is going to be spent on much needed clothing for those directly involved in the fire fighting and this will include specialist trousers and boots designed for the dramatic conditions the Volunteers have to endure.
