Gold was the order of the day as Des and Barbara Briggs celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. From the ballons and ribbons to the flags and hats gold was everywhere and complimented by the superb weather. They were also presented with golden scorecards to keep as a momento of the occasion.

The clubhouse was bedecked by many pictures from the happy day all those years ago!

80 members and guests played a pairs betterball, they also enjoyed a wonderful halfway house with Rosemary and Sue providing their usual fantastic service.

Friends later enjoyed a fabulous evening at Luau Restaurant in Albufeira with the Vicar of Dibley in attendance.
