PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE MEAL AND MENS' GOLF HERE (add partner's food request, if relevant).
ALREADY OVER 60 ARE REGISTERED FOR THE MEAL, BUT RECENT RESTRICTIONS HAVE NOW REDUCED THE RESTAURANT CAPACITY INSIDE TO ABOUT 40, SO iF THE WEATHER IS NOT GOOD WE HAVE A "PLAN B"!
I HAVE MADE ANOTHER BOOKING AT THE SAME RESTAURANT FOR 40 PEOPLE AT LUNCH ON FRIDAY 4th DECEMBER, SO IF WE HAVE TO, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SPLIT INTO TWO 40's. THIS MIGHT SUIT SOME MORE, AS THERE WOULD BE NO NEED TO RUSH AFTER GOLF (By the way Dave & Maddy, Des & Barbara, Les & Jackie and Pete & Di will come both days if this happens!)

Providing Covid 19 restrictions allow, this will be a special day for the Matchplay Men, as this Thursday is the date for our last quarterly presentation lunch of the year, so all partners are also invited.
As has been the norm this year, the lunch will be held at Brasserie Rosal who again offer us a great all inclusive menu for €25, although the top few guys in the league will pay nothing and all other regulars at least €5 less, depending on the amount in the kitty then.
Andi from the retsaurant assures me they can accommodate at least 60 people, all socially distanced - and whilst "Thursday Boys" do not normally have a table plan, I will give everyone the opportunity to eat at the same table as those in "their bubble" nearer the time.Tables of six are currently allowed. Menu is below, so, please select the preferred starter, main and dessert for you and your partner (If applicable).

Algarvian prawn cocktail with herbal garlic sauce and ciabatta,
Crepe with marinated salmon, cream cheese, served with salad
Cauliflower curry soup with chicken strips
MAIN COURSES - choose 1
Slow roast beef with herbal horseradish sauce, served with sauteed potatoes and vegetables
Braised wild boar ragout from the oven, served with red wine sauce, sauted potatoes & vegetables
Roasted fillets of fresh Atlantic sole and salmon with white wine sauce, herbal rice & vegetables
DESSERTS - choose 1
Apple tart with vanilla ice cream
Home made cones filled with Mascarpone cream and red berries
Cheese platter
ALL DRINKS as follows:- red, white & rosé wine, beer, soft drinks, water, coffee (for 3 hours from arrival)
