Mens Matchplay & lunch

Today we hold our quarterly MM lunch, again at Ponte Romana in Silves. Menu

choices are the same as in July, but Dave Tweed will put them below in case.

We have the same deal as usual, when no MM regular will pay more than €20

(providing the kitty is large enough!). Menu follows:-

STARTERS (choose 1)

A Algarvia Squid

Braised goats cheese with fig jam & toasted almonds

Mushroom Tiborna with Island cheese

Alheira croquettes with garlic mayonnaise

MAIN COURSE (choose 1)

Lamb stew with fried bread, boiled potatoes & carrots

Fillet of sea bass with olive oil & garlic, with baked potatoes & vegetables

Chicken fillet in cream sauce, with carrots, peas & french fries

Beef steak  "a Portuguese" with sliced potatoes

DESSERT (choose 1)

Almond pie

Chocolate mousse

Cream pie

Fruit

€30 "all inclusive" - with Couvert, beer, wine & water for 3 hours
