 TEXAS SCRAMBLE
Teams of 4 - All players drive on each tee. The team then decides which of their balls is in the best position for the next shot. Position of the ball must be marked. The chosen ball must be played first. The other players in the team (in any order) may clean their own ball and then play it from marked position:
 - On the green or fairway they must place it, not nearer the hole, within 6 inches (the height of a scorecard);
 - Otherwise (e.g. in the rough, in a bunker etc.) they must drop it, not nearer the hole, within one club-length. When dropping in the hazard the ball must hit part of the hazard first. Next shot, again you are using the best shot. Carry on until you hole out, using the best shot each time. Each player must use 4 drives each, clearly marked on the card The handicap is 10% of the total combined sloped handicaps. Please record the gross score for the team under the player whose tee shot was used column for each hole.
Players are allowed to substitute the ball, when their own ball is a distance away from the chosen ball. Especially, if this is done to maintain the pace of play.
How to Determine Team Handicap and NET Score: Handicap Allowance is 10% of combined Handicaps for 4 Player Teams. 15% of combined Handicaps for 3 Player Teams. Example: 4 Player Team with combined handicap of 48 x 10% = 4.8 strokes off total gross score (e.g. final gross is 71 - 4.8 = 66.2 net)

"It has been agreed by Pestana and our Management Committee that the rakes in the bunkers at Silves will now be available.


Please be aware that it is personal choice whether to use the rakes, but it may be prudent to use your gloved hand or sanitizer in doing so."

• The use of protective masks is mandatory when accessing the premises of the club house.
• Locker rooms and showers not available.
• Only 1 selling point available at reception.
• Check – In maximum with 30 minutes in advance;
• Arrival at the 1st Tee maximum with 5 minutes in advance.
• Sanitize your hands along the way and at the end of the game.
• Partners who are living together may share a buggy.
• Do not touch flagsticks.
•  Club washers, compressor and shoe cleaning brushes are not available
• Clubhouse now open, sit in groups of 4 on the terrace.
• Have a nice game.
