SDM kept the winning run going with a win over newcomers ESPICHE.
A comfortable win 3 - 1/2 to one - 1/2 ie 7-3 on points saw SDM climb further up the table.
There were some old faces in the Espiche Team, four recent members of Sdm enjoyed a return to Silves.
Some notable performances all coming from the tail end of the line up.
Chris Nickels enjoyed a return to the team with convincing win 5 and 4 partnered by Gary Edwards.

The new stoke indices are now in place at Silves, although it is not yet known when the marker boards will be altered.
All competitions, Extra Day Cards and knockout matches will use these new indices. The Datagolf system which is used for submitting our score cards has also been updated to reflect the changes, so please use the new score cards already available at Silves reception.
SdM kept up there winning streak on Thursday beating second in the league Vilamoura 3 and half - one and half .
SDM put a dent in the hopes of title chasing Vilamoura who are just 7 points behind Villa sol.
Vilamoura needed to win to keep the pressure on Villa Sol but were no match for a strong SdM team.
Convincing performances from Chris Price and Bill Goodwin, George Cook and Steve Edwards both pairs winning 3 and 2.
A tough match for Ray Groves and Geoff Cox who could not quite shake off the opposition until the 17th green Geoff Cox making birdie to secure the match 2 up .
Lynn Cook and Mick Girling lost there 100 % pairing record by halving their match.
And the last pairing saw AnnIe Chapman making her dubut for SdM.
But sadly the Chapmans came up against some tough opposition in past member Geoff Robinson and a very good Eiko Wakabashi.

Good day of social golf, especially for the first few flights who finished their round before the heavy rain and wind came up at just after 1pm. S.D.M. gained full revenge on a very strong a Tavira team yesterday .
With very good performance from everyone saw SDM beat Tavira 4-1 avenging the defeat away from home.
GLynn Cook and Mick Girling kept up their winning ways with fantastic 6 and 5 win
Scores were very close yesterday, apart from the winning team of Peter Hatherley, Andy Richardson, Bob Coe and their guest John Ellis - who made the most of their joker holes, particularly on the back 9.
In 2nd place, some way behind the leaders, but again making some good scores on their bonus holes, were Maz & Stu, Paul Spallin and Andy Mattinson. Two points behind in 3rd position were Karen & Mel, Sandy Rumfitt and Richard Emrich.
