Fourteen members and six guests played in very hot sunshine recently for the Gloria Carr Trophy.
The recent match played down at the Parque de Floresta course resulted ina tie. Both teams winning 2.5 matches.
On a blisteringly hot day SdM had a fine 3-2 win at home against Quinta do Lago. This is revenge for a loss at QdL two weeks ago. There were fine performances throughout the side, with wins from Mike Carr and Bob Coe, Chris Price and Gill Edwards and an emphatic 7&5 win from Steve Edwards and Lynn Cook.
Our team secured a very commendable 4 victories and 1 half in our home game against Levante.
Geoff Cox held his Captain's Day on Saturday 22nd June. On Sunday there was a presentation lunch at Casa Madelaine.

SdM suffered another defeat at QdL. On a fabulous day the beautiful South Course was in wonderful condition. Although many of our team put in some very good performances we were outplayed generally.
SdM suffered another home defeat losing 3-1 with one match halved. The loss leaves us trailing behind the league leaders.
