SdM suffered another defeat at QdL. On a fabulous day the beautiful South Course was in wonderful condition. Although many of our team put in some very good performances we were outplayed generally.
SdM suffered another home defeat losing 3-1 with one match halved. The loss leaves us trailing behind the league leaders.
Despite some very good individual performances SdM could not secure the victory that was important if we are to mount a challenge for the league title this year.
Our only winners were Ray and Eileen Groves with a half for Bob Coe and Arthur Greenwood.
All the other three matches were losses.
Final score 3 1/2 1 1/2 to Levant.
Our ladies day was a smaller field than normal, and in very windy conditions our game was hidden partner. We also had a prize for the lady with the most points on the six par 3s. Paula luijt very kindly sponsored longest drive on the 7 and nearest the pin on the 16th.
The reult of the home match against Parque de Floresta on Thursday 16th May was all square.
