A glorious autumnal day saw SdM members compete for victory in the Not the Ryder Cup. Captains Geoff Cox (Europe) and George W Cook (USA) led the matches with the US gaining the upper hand, it was a lead short lived as the other matches swung the score in favour of the Europeans who ran out resounding winners 22-18.
A day of changeable weather greeted the Members and guests for this year's Presidents Day. George Cook was up early at the Clubhouse to welcome the players, the dark clouds and occasional rumble of thunder did nothing to deter the general good feeling for the day.
Ladies Day organized by Eileen Groves SDM and Heather Nicholls Boa Vista
On a lovley October morning saw forty ladies turn up for the return friendly game with Boa Vista ladies.
The ladies had another great day yesterday.

In our final home match of the season SdM had a fabulous victory against league leaders Alto.
After a glorious weekend of fabulous weather and superb golf SdM have their Club Champions for 2013. The men's title was claimed by the defending champion Damir Babikov who followed up his first round 73 with an 80.
